Summary
This is a one-day test to attempt to gain the status of Valence Certified Developer. The developer will be given a programming assignment in the CNX Training Center and have 5 hours to complete the task. Developers can use any documentation or examples they wish when completing the assignment. Upon completion a panel of three members of the CNX Valence Development Team will judge the results on a pass/fail basis. A passing grade from two out of the three judges is required to gain certification. If certification is granted, the developer will receive documentation proving that they are certified by CNX as a Valence developer, which can be presented to current and prospective employers proving competency. There is no specific schedule for when this test is given. Developers may contact CNX to request a time to come to the training center on any day that works for both CNX and the developer.
Objectives

Prerequisites:
Prior to registering for this test, developers should seriously consider taking courses VV301 and VV305 and any additional prerequisites. Developers are expected to show competency in all aspects of Valence for this test, including RPG, desktop and mobile development as well as Valence administration.
